Diving In!

Bronc’s swim has been a sport at Cody High School for years. The first swim team in Cody started in 1968, Terry Bartlett coached the team for the first thirty years (Freedman). Their head coach now is Emily Swett and their assistant/diving coach is Cami Jackson. Even though they have never won state, they do phenomenally every year. After a great season last year, earning fifth place at state, the boys' swim team is in for another awesome season.

They have nine new swimmers, including someone who rejoined. The team has nineteen swimmers, and it looks like they will do very well this year. Bryson Laing thinks they could place second or third at state, higher than ever before. The team has some great swimmers who could help them achieve their goals.

Laing has been a part of the Bronc’s Swim Team for a while. “I have been doing swim and dive since sixth grade, so this is my sixth year,” he said. Many other swimmers and divers have competed on the swim team who have been swimming just as long or longer than Laing.

The Cody High School boy’s swim team always does their best and strives to win.
