Every June predators abroad 

Try there best for a shot at the lottery

Results come out in May 

And days upon days

Waiting and waiting in anticipation 

Crossing their fingers in hope

For their fall plans will be decided soon  

Clans 12 and above

Party Tags and the lottery draw

The superstition and luck that fills the air

Years may go by without any success

But with the slightest prosperity 

Those tables may turn

Everyone knows why people put in

The beauty of nature thrives through their skin 

Shikaras go through the pain

For just one small little gain

But the gain means the people will not complain

The beauty of nature means the world

Constantly surrounded by the silence

Faint sounds of nature in the breeze

The pursuit and anticipation of the draw

To draw a permit opens a new door

You face hardship and gossip

“How did he draw there must be a flaw”

That is the luck of the draw
